WIDEsystem Tools 23 contains the WIDEsystem and
Scanner Maintenance software installation files along with
Operator’s and User’s Guides.
WIDEsystem NET is designed to integrate your wide format
scanner with your overall system. It contains the actual drivers
that bring your scanner together with Windows. In addition,
WIDEsystemNET contains a scanner control interface that lets you
monitor your scanning device directly from your Windows interface
system tray.
Scan to NET: WIDEsystem NET enables companies to share
one or more scanners across its departments no matter their
locations. With WIDEsystem NET and compatible NET scan or copy
software, a scanner can send scans directly to computers (clients)
on the local network or across the internet. WIDEsystem NET contains
both SCANserver and SCANclient software modules.
Scanner Maintenance The 3C maintenance system is designed
to help you keep your scanner's cameras perfectly aligned, adjusted
and calibrated for optimal image quality. Regular scanner
maintenance is a sure way to minimize costly downtime. Scanner
Maintenance, with the Scanner Maintenance Kit, is very easy to
use-most of it is completely automatic-letting you concentrate on
your work and take optimal scanner performance for granted.
Note:
This software requires that your scanner has the latest
firmware and that all scanning software is uninstalled before
installation. Older versions of WIDEimage and JETimage may not
function properly.

WIDEmail
2.1 is a program designed to
automate electronic mailing of scanned wide-format image files. Until now,
the common task of e-mailing scanned wide-format images could require that
you use up to three different applications, with subsequent disk-saves.
With a single press of a button, WIDEmail takes care of scanning, file
compression and opens a new e-mail with your image file attached and ready
to go. WIDEmail supports all CalComp scanners with One-Touch-Scan buttons
and Still-Image-Interface (STI) support on Windows 98 and 2000.

For optimal performance with your scanner, please upgrade scanner firmware
to release 33 or later and calibrate scanner using Scanner Maintenance and
the Scanner Maintenance calibration sheet.
NOTE: Before installing JETimage, make sure that you close all applications
including WIDEsystem (right click on the WIDEsystem icon in the System Tray
and click "exit" ). Requires your previous or
purchased serial number for installation.

Installing JETimage 6.0 or later:
Installing this release of JETimage will overwrite previously
installed versions of JETimage BASE. This release allows JETimage NET
features for a 30 day trial period. After the trial period, the installation
becomes JETimage NET (limited version) until you choose to buy JETimage NET.
JETimage NET (limited version) features will only cover single or
low-production copying.

WIDEcapture
1.2 for AutoCAD 2002 - Windows Edition for PC
and
later. When you install this plug-in software, a new menu item called
"Scanned Raster Image" is added to the Insert Menu on your
AutoCAD interface. This new option activates a WIDEimage Scan Screen,
including the split preview screen and special tool buttons. The scanned
image is inserted directly into your AutoCAD workspace, saving you the
time and trouble it takes to load the image from a file. The active Wide
Format Scanning interface closes down at the end of scan-to-file and your
scanned image is automatically loaded into the current drawing in AutoCAD.
This software has the same functionality as the scanning part of WIDEimage
software.
For the following Scanners: S4-925Sx Plus, S4-725Sx, S4-436Cx, S4-942XL, S4-742XL, S4-954C, S4-940C, S4-740CE , S4-936C, S4-736C, S4-536TX, and ACS4600.

1.3 for Adobe Photoshop 5.0 - Windows Edition for PC (English version)
(Build 2378) and later imports images from your scanner into the Photoshop image
editor. You can then use Photoshop's wide range of image manipulation
options, just as if you had opened an image file from your hard disk.
Install the program in Photoshop's plug-in folder and then just select the
application through Photoshop's File menu.
Note:
